Alex & Victor’s Romantic Wedding at Addison Woods
Alex and Victor’s Addison Woods wedding paired an intimate chapel ceremony with sunlit portraits beneath the venue’s oak trees and a celebration that felt effortlessly romantic.

Alex and Victor’s wedding at Addison Woods was the kind of day that felt both beautifully refined and completely at ease. Surrounded by old oak trees, open lawn, and the venue’s bright white architecture, they celebrated with a warmth that came through in every part of their gallery.
Addison Woods offered a natural rhythm for the day. The white barn-style exterior introduced the venue’s clean, modern character, while the Laura May Chapel created a luminous setting for the ceremony. Inside, white pews, tall windows, dark chandeliers, and a wooden cross gave the room a sense of simplicity and meaning without feeling stark.
Alex wore a romantic gown with a softly structured bodice, delicate lace details, and a full skirt that moved beautifully through the open grounds. Her veil became one of the defining elements of the portraits, catching the late-afternoon light and adding a quiet sense of movement to the photographs.
Victor chose a light neutral suit with a white shirt and understated boutonniere. The warm tones felt perfectly suited to the natural setting and created a relaxed, polished look beside Alex’s gown.
Their floral design followed the same effortless palette. Alex carried a bouquet of white flowers and greenery, a timeless combination that complemented both the chapel and the wooded landscape surrounding the venue.
During the ceremony, the chapel filled with soft window light as Alex and Victor stood beneath the cross. The clean lines of the room kept the focus on them, while the expressions of their family and friends brought all the emotion of the moment into the photographs.
Afterward, we stepped outside for portraits beneath Addison Woods’ mature oak trees. Their sprawling branches framed the couple with a sense of scale and place, while the open lawn gave us room to create both quiet, close photographs and wider images that showed the beauty of the venue.
Some of the most striking frames came from letting Alex’s veil move freely around them. In the softer close-ups, the fabric caught the light and wrapped the portraits in a gentle haze. Those images feel intimate and cinematic, yet still honest to the way Alex and Victor naturally connect.
We also made space for photographs with more energy. Alex and Victor walked, laughed, and moved together across the lawn, allowing the shape of her gown and the warmth of the evening light to bring life into every frame.
The result is a gallery that balances editorial composition with genuine emotion. The chapel photographs preserve the significance of the ceremony, the wide oak-tree portraits establish the beauty of Addison Woods, and the close images hold onto the smaller expressions that made the day theirs.
Alex and Victor’s celebration is a beautiful example of why Addison Woods photographs so well. Its white chapel, open fields, and historic trees provide variety without ever pulling attention away from the people at the center of the story.
